SHIPPING AND RETURNS

All orders are shipped from Lisbon (Portugal) on working days (Monday to Friday, except holidays). We will dispatch your order on the same day it is placed or on the next working day.

 

IMPORTANT INFO for NON-EU CUSTOMERS

CUSTOMS & DUTIESOrders delivered to countries outside of the EU (including the UK) may have to go through custom clearance and the customers are responsibility to pay the given taxes and duties. Maria Riding Company shall not bear the cost of any taxes and duties applied in such cases.

We have no influence on these charges and cannot tell you what the custom fees will be, as custom policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. For information regarding import fees and taxes, please, contact your local customs authority. We are not responsible for any delays in shipping caused by the customs authorities. Orders up to $800 enter duty-free into the United States and up to £135 into the UK. 

Also note that transportation cost and custom clearance cost associated with a cancellation/refusal of a package will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.

NOTE: Standard shipping option it´s cheaper but we can´t guarantee how many days it will take to arrive. It may vary from 10-25 days depending on destinations. We highly recommend using DHL, since it´s faster and more reliable then Standard shipping option. Also DHL Express covers free returns option.

RETURNS

To prevent returns due to sizing error, we recommend that you always check our size charts and our specific notes for each garment before purchasing. We carefully measure each garment, so our size charts are very precise. However, you should keep in mind that due to the artisan cutting and making our products, there may be small differences between units of the same product and size. 

If for some reason you are not happy with your purchase you can return it to us within 14 days of receiving the purchase for refund or size exchange.

Please note that products like underwear, masks, socks, and any type of undergarment, or Helmets, are FINAL SALE and are not subject to return or exchange.

To make a return, you can do so by following these simple steps:

 

1.  Send us an email to webstore@maria-ridingcompany.com indicating your order number and the item you wish to return for refund.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The item should be in the same condition as you received it, with all of its labels still attached and must be free of wear, wash, damage, odor, or any other condition that would prevent them from being sold as new.

2.  Prepare the package. You can use the plastic bag in which you received the order or any packaging that protects the contents (this is where the return label must be attached).

3.  If the you had chosen UPS standard, UPS Express or Standard shipping method when buying, the returns cost shall be covered by you. In this case the you are free to choose what courier you want to send us back the item. Please send us the package with a trackable track and trace number, to:

IMPORTANT INFO for NON-EU CUSTOMERS

If the you had chosen DHL Express shipping method when buying, (only available for costumer out of European Union) then the return costs are covered by this service. After we receive the email about the return we will send back a DHL label. You just need to print it and stick it on outer part of the pack. Then you need to contact your DHL local dealer in order to schedule the pick up. 

 

NOTE: If you are making the return from a country outside the EU, it is very important that you mark the package declaration as “Returned Goods” in order to avoid having to pay new customs duties. Even with this "declaration" written, most of the times there are reimport fees involved. Please, keep in mind that any other expenses that may occur with the return process have to be covered by you, such as reimport fees. Remember also that due to customs processes in returns, the timelines for the items to arrive to our address could take much longer. (from 15 to 25 days)

Maria Riding Company have no responsibility with return timelines and shall not assume any responsibility for damage or issue incurred by returns sent through a transport company other than the one used in our own returns system.

Maria Riding Company will only accept garments that are in new condition, unworn, tags unremoved, and free of damages (provided the item is not defective). Unacceptable items, including items shipped without authorization, will be returned to sender at sender's cost.

 

4. Once the package has been delivered to us and inspected we will proceed with the exchange or the refund.

The exchanges will be sent within 3-4 days using the same shipping method used on the first order, with no extra costs added. 

The refunds are made effective by the same means through which payment was made (card or PayPal, or bank transfer) 2-8 days after we receive the package. This refund shall include the purchase amount minus the delivery costs.
