Shipping and Returns
SHIPPING
All orders are shipped from Lisbon, Portugal, on business days (Monday to Friday, excluding holidays). We aim to dispatch your order on the same day or the next business day after purchase.
We ship exclusively with DHL for both domestic and international orders.
Shipping options:
- Portugal: DHL Standard or Standard Postal Shipping
- EU Countries: DHL Standard or DHL Express
- Non-EU Countries (e.g., UK, USA): DHL Express only
Note: Standard shipping may take longer and is less predictable. For fast and reliable delivery, we recommend DHL Express.
Customs & Duties (Non-EU Orders)
Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties or import taxes, which are the customer's responsibility.
These charges vary by country, and we cannot estimate or control them.
If a package is refused or cancelled after dispatch, the original shipping and any customs clearance fees will be deducted from your refund.
RETURNS
We do not offer exchanges.
If you need a different size or item, please return your purchase and place a new order.
You may return items within 14 days of receiving your order. We will refund the value of the returned products (excluding shipping costs unless free return applies).
Free Returns
Orders over €200 (with free shipping) are eligible for free return shipping.

How to Return
- Email webstore@maria-ridingcompany.com with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
- Items must be in new condition, unworn, unwashed, with all original tags, and free from damage or odor.
- Pack the item securely (you can reuse the original packaging).
- If your order does not qualify for free return shipping, you're responsible for the return cost.
You may use any courier, with or without tracking.
However, please note:
If you choose a non-trackable shipping method, you fully accept the risk of loss or failed delivery.
Maria Riding Company cannot refund or assist with returns that do not arrive at our warehouse and have no proof of delivery.

Free DHL Returns for Non-EU Orders
If your original shipping method was DHL Express (used for non-EU orders), we’ll provide a free DHL return label.
After your email request, we’ll send you the label — just print it, stick it on the parcel, and contact DHL to arrange pickup.
Returns from non-EU countries may take longer (15–25 days) due to customs processes.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will process the refund via your original payment method (card, PayPal, or bank transfer) within 2 to 8 days.
We do not accept returns that are worn, damaged, washed, or missing tags.
Unauthorized or non-compliant returns will be returned to the sender at their expense.
